Yesh..! Finally Alyssa is 1 month old.
She is going to cut all her hair

Alyssa went back home @ 11 May afternoon.

9 May 2008 Arrival of Princess Alyssa

After 38weeks of long waiting, As recommended by gynae I made a decision to induce to see bb earlier than my EDD which is 19 May 2008.

Here are my birth story :
00:00 - Admitted to MT A & go into the delivery ward & lie on the bed waiting...
I have not feel anything pain or contractions.
I requested to nurse to clear my bowel.

01:00 - Dr Chua came & was asking me that i got epidural or not.
I got request epidural but it took several times to process the epidural.
Dr Chua checked the cervix & it was only 1.5cm dilated.
She also burst my waterbag to speed up the baby head down and dilated.
it just keep flowing out non-stop until the bed was wet.
I was also put on drip and started to monitor the CTG rate.

01:20 - Epidural injected and wah ... i dun need to worry how pain the contractions

02:00 - Nurse came and checked the dilated. i still dilated 3cm.
Nurse told me 1 cm dilated need abt 1 hour. Oh My Godness !!

03:00 - I tired and fall sleep 3 hours. not bad ! and i got dream & see my bb Alyssa smile to me.

06:00 - I woke up & nurse came n checked the dilated.
Wow ! surprise i got dilated 9cm already :) nurse said i super fast dilated from 3 to 9 cm.

07:00 - Nurse came n checked again the dilated. still 9.5cm.
I tot already fully dilated, because i felt something to come out soon.
But nurse told me better dun push first, because not yet fully dilation.

08:30 - Finally i dilated 10cm and they called Dr Chua to come.
We started to push out the baby.
I was instructed to push when the contractions came.
and my baby was out in 43 mins time.

09:13 - Our Princess Alyssa is born to the world !!!

09:20 - Hubby was told to follow the nurse to do the weight(3.06kg) & length(48cm) while i was being stitch up.

09:30 - Baby crying sound was heard! It is our baby Alyssa!
Finally she is born after several hours of pain & agony.
Tears of joy dropped down from my eyes and it was a mix feeling for me.
I was shivering and started to vomit and vomit until
i asked for injection to stop the vomit.

11:00 - Back to ward. i felt hungry & thirsty, but i still can't eat anyting.
i need to wait 1 hour later.

During our 3D2N stay @ MT A, many friends & relatives came to visit us. Also we received many gifts, hampers, bird nest & chicken essence.

Pregnancy First Checkup - Last Checkup (18/09/07~08/05/08)

We booked our first appointment on 18 Sept 07 and all we see is an egg sac. But doctor confirmed that indeed there is bb inside my tummy! :-)
